Przemek DANIŁOWICZ

Hello

Music has always fascinated me, and my awareness of sound has developed as I delved deeper into the material of music, breaking down its entire structure into increasingly smaller particles. As I played my instrument, I gradually began to notice that I was somewhat of a “sound enthusiast,” because the aspect of the instrument’s sound has always been very important to me.

During my education in music school and later at the Academy of Music, I noticed a strong correlation between sound and the so-called “flow” during improvisation. For a long time, I searched for the right synthesis, combining all these elements through playing techniques, the right instrument, the proper amplifier and its settings, as well as playing adjusted to the acoustics of the room. The selection of these elements in relation to each other is very important and produces specific effects.

“I have the impression that my music is pictorial even when I am not writing it directly for an image. I enjoy an unconventional approach to instrumentation and sound.”

BIO

I studied guitar and piano at the Academy of Music in Katowice in the Jazz Department and sound engineering at the Academy of Film and Television in Warsaw. I am a musician, composer, sound engineer, and yogi all in one 🙂 I also run the recording studio Quality Studio in Warsaw, where, in addition to recording, I engage in composition, music production, mixing, and mastering. I have collaborated with many outstanding artists, including Andrzej Wajda, Tomasz Stańko, and Zbigniew Libera. I create music that borders on jazz, avant-garde, electronic, and ethnic genres. Furthermore, I collect and play ethnic instruments.

Yoga

I have been practicing yoga for over 16 years.

During this time, I had the opportunity to gain experience and develop my skills under the guidance of renowned international teachers from around the world in various yoga schools.

In recent years, I have devoted special attention to Kundalini Yoga. Delving into its rich arcana of knowledge, I have also become a Kundalini Yoga instructor with an international KRI certification.

At the same time, I am a musician, composer, producer, and sound engineer. I combine my yoga practice with music, playing various ethnic instruments such as the Persian lutes Setar and Tar, gongs, the African harp Kora, the Saz, and the Aeolian wind harp, integrating them with meditative practices.
